JasperSoft Corp. has launched JasperForge.org, an online site that provides free access to collaborative tools to build, deploy, and extend open source business intelligence (BI) software. The site also provides users with a central place to download BI software, learn configuration tips, and share BI deployment experiences with other people.
JasperForge.org provides developers with free access to a wide range of collaborative development tools including discussion forums, version control, wikis, a development dashboard, issue tracking, and automated project monitoring.
Additional features of JasperForge.org include: - Project portals where developers can manage development projects and search through files and documents
- Customisable wiki framework and discussion forums;
- Version control with Subversion integration
Publishing system for open source software and documentation- Task manager with the ability to request actions such as feedback or contribution from other members in a team
