Acision has appointed Louis Corrigan as its new Chief Technical Officer (CTO).

With over 25 years’ experience in the telecoms industry, Corrigan has spent the last few years
in the CTO role of Accuris Networks. Prior to that he held the position of CTO with both Mobile
Cohesion and Logica Mobile Networks where he was responsible for the development of technical strategy and the introduction of new products and technologies. He has also held senior technical and consulting roles in Aldiscon, PKI and Retix.

“Over the past few months our new investors have been working hard to ensure Acision is equipped to continue to serve its customers and take advantage of the opportunities the market presents. Louis will be driving Acision’s technology strategy as well as supporting our global customers with his valuable experience. I am very pleased that Louis has joined the executive team, bringing his wealth of market expertise to Acision,” said Rory Buckley, Chief Executive for Acision.

“Acision serves a large global customer base of network operators and service providers and is the undisputed leader in the areas of messaging and charging. I am looking forward to working with a strong team and developing a technology strategy that ensures Acision builds on its core strengths and remains at the forefront of the industry,” said Corrigan.

Established in June 2007, Acision enables network operators, service providers, broadband operators and content owners to increase revenues, enhance customer loyalty and capitalise on the opportunities offered by convergence.

Acision was formed following the purchase of LogicaCMG’s Telecoms Products business for 265 million pounds by a consortium led by Atlantic Bridge Ventures and Access Industries.

The company employs approximately 1,700 people in 22 countries across six continents.
