SECUDE signon 5.9 Advances End-to-End Enterprise Single Sign-On

End-to-End Data Protection and SAP Security solutions provider SECUDE has released the latest addition to its Enterprise Single Sign-On (eSSO) portfolio with the introduction of SECUDE signon 5.9.

eSSO products are known for their ability to cut costs and increase productivity in companies around the world. By reducing the number of logons required, users are less likely to forget their passwords and lose valuable time resetting them via a helpdesk.

"Simplifying user logons reduces cost and increases security, making this a product which pays for itself with a clear ROI. The advances available in SECUDE signon 5.9 have catapulted our solution to the forefront of the market," said Michael Jaeger, Token & Access Business Unit Manager of SECUDE.

SECUDE signon 5.9 boasts features such as:

Multi-factor Authentication: Credentials can be stored in an encrypted container with no need of a separate token. This functionality allows easy migration from credentials to smart cards for additional security.

Web SSO: Users can now utilize a toolbar for Microsoft Internet Explorer to quickly access web applications and ftp-sites with increased convenience and security.

Enterprise Environment Support: Citrix Presentation Server 4.x (and 3.0) is now supported and SECUDE signon is complementary with SECUDE signon&secure and SECUDE securelogin for SAP environments.

Expanded smart card support: Additional middleware significantly broadens the choices of tokens available and recognises a variety of smartcard lifecycle management software including SECUDE trustmanager.

Performance improvements: The time to unlock the screen has been drastically reduced by an optimized algorithm and further increases ease of use.

Improved language support: Support for English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Czech allows multinational corporations to standardize to one eSSO solution.
