Microsoft to Announce Quarterly Earnings Release Date and Upcoming Event for Financial Community

Software behemoth Microsoft Corp. announced Wednesday that it will release its fiscal year 2008 second quarter financial results after the close of the market on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008.

A live webcast of the earnings conference call will be made available at 2:30 p.m. Pacific Time on the Microsoft Investor Relations Web site.

The company will also host the following event for the financial community:

• Investor Relations Financial Analyst Briefing at the 2008 International CES Conference

• Monday, January 7, 2008

• 2:00 p.m. PST

• Robbie Bach, president, Entertainment and Devices Division
