Sun Microsystems will be holding “Technovate 2008” a two-day forum that will address one of the biggest concerns and challenges which organizations are faced with today- that of preserving the environment.
Exclusively for CXOs, the forum will be held in Mumbia, India on August 6 and 7, 2008 encompassing the themes Cycles of Balance Green Technology = Smart Technology.
Incepted in 2007, Sun Technovate is a forum designed specifically to mobilize India's cutting edge potential and deliver critical success to its technology consumers. The two-day event this year will commence with a keynote address by John Fowler, Executive Vice President, Systems, Sun Microsystems Inc, highlighting the role of eco innovation and ways to reduce environmental footprint in business and will be attended by CxOs (CIOs, CFOs and CEOs) from various industry sectors including telecom, BFSI, retail and manufacturing. Sun Technovate 2008 will also feature exclusive previews and presentations from Sun Microsystems and Sun Partners, which will elaborate specific solutions to address the challenge of reducing the carbon footprint.
The sessions will also include discussions and debates on how enterprises must look at sustainable development and not just green IT and enable participants to dive deeper into eco friendly high performing technologies and various aspects of recycling resources employed by the enterprises.
